Technical Information
Vista™ uses the latest technology in aluminum alloys and exterior metal coatings available. Our wet and powder coat finishes exceed the AAMA 2603.98 specification for UV and salt spray resistance. There are many different types of coatings on the market today and many less expensive powder coatings do not meet this minimum paint specification.

Each Vista™ aluminum railing system is engineered to meet the U.S. 1997 UBC and all Canadian building code requirements.

Painting Process
The critical process: Pretreatment and paint application.

By nature, Aluminum and paint don't like each other. Therefore the pretreatment of the aluminum and paint application processes are critical. If any of these processes fail, the paint coating will peel, chip, and flake off the aluminum resulting in a costly warranty situation.

We electro statically apply all of our paint finishes at our facility. Our Q-Base quality systems mandates daily testing be carried out to ensure the adherence and cure of the coating.
