How does the Mirage Retractable Screen work?
A two inch round canister is mounted on the side of your door (on the trim around the door) and the screen mesh rolls into that canister when you're not using it. When you need the screen you pull the handle across the door and it connects to a magnet on the other side.
What is the warranty?
Lifetime on all parts for the roller screen (except mesh screen material) under normal wear and tear. One year on parts and labor.
What are the colors?
White, black, tudor (brown), linen cream, sandalwood, grey.
How durable is the mesh screen material?
It is a fiberglass material, and needs to be taken care of like any normal screen mesh. The benefit to the Mirage is when you're not using the screen, the mesh is rolled away into the canister. Therefore, it is protected from the wear and tear from weather and the elements and has longer life expectancy than the normal screen doors.
