How does the Mirage Retractable Screen work?
A two inch round canister is mounted on the side of your door (on the trim around the door) and the screen mesh rolls into that canister when you're not using it. When you need the screen you pull the handle across the door and it connects to a magnet on the other side.

Mirage door screens can be made to fit almost any door application, including in swing or out swing doors, patio doors, entrance doors and French double doors.
